She volunteers with many local charities and remains on the advisory board for HappyBottoms.org (Kansas City's Diaper Bank) which she first joined when it was a startup organization. Since its inception, the organization has helped free four innocent individuals. In addition to advocating for retrials and overturning convictions, Miracle of Innocence provides exonerees with essential resources such as housing, employment assistance, mental health support, transportation, food, clothing, and more. Without proper transition services for exonerees, Miracle of Innocence fills a critical gap in providing comprehensive reentry care.
